Exterior Space Use

Homestead Community Land Trust is honored to make portions of the 1105 Martin Luther King Jr. Way property available for temporary community use. In the spirit of shared stewardship and neighborhood vitality, Parking Lot A—a paved outdoor area—is open for events that serve the public good. Use of the Green or Parking Lot B may also be available by special request. These spaces are offered through a revocable license agreement to support activities aligned with Hilltop values of racial and economic equity, community self-determination, and place-based engagement. We welcome nonprofit organizations, mutual aid groups, neighborhood coalitions, and mission-driven enterprises—especially BIPOC-led efforts—to bring forward cultural events, resource fairs, educational gatherings, or artistic celebrations that are free or low-cost to the public and grounded in community benefit.

Interior Space Use

Are you a visual artist looking for space to bring your work to life? We invite artists rooted in Hilltop to inquire about using temporary pop-up space at 1105 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Whether you're painting a mural, building an installation, or creating interactive community art, we offer limited indoor space through a simple site license for active project development. If your work aligns with values of equity, creativity, and public benefit, we welcome your vision. Reach out to explore possibilities:  1105Hilltop@homesteadclt.org

COMMUNITY EVENT SPACE

Tacoma Urban Performing Arts Center and a variety of visual artists currently occupy the interior of the 1105 Building through no-cost site licenses. This was a community-driven activation that we are proud to continue.
